Anita and Richard Perry organised a fantastic Lenches-wide treasure hunt this year, attracting around a dozen cars packed with eager participants all competing to complete the tasks set for them. While it wasn't quite mayhem on the local roads, many non-participating residents will have been quite perplexed by the numerous cars slowly moving about and stopping in the oddest of places. Cars would abruptly disgorge their occupants, who would then rush back in and continue on their way.
About two and a half hours after starting, all teams returned to the village hall to enjoy a fladbury pie and pizza (for the children) supper. Richard and Anita then announced the winners, Chafy's Chumps, a team comprising Darin and Claire McLean, Ken Linfoot, and Maddy Linfoot. A big thank you to Richard and Anita for putting on this event.
