and so the evening really got started with Robbie Burns traditional ode to the haggis after it was brought out of the kitchen by chef extraordinaire David Moysey, and respectfully addressed by local Scotsman Darin McLean (ok, he was the best we could get, to find his Scottish roots we had to go back to the late 18th century!) on behalf of everyone present. What a wonderful evening of great eating and energetic dancing to the authentic sounds of "The Compost Ceilidh Band". The dance floor buzzed all night. The band did a tremendous job of getting some of the Hall's less confident people onto the floor, but once they got there that is where they chose to stay.
