You would have been fooled into thinking summer had at last arrived on Saturday 25th May, as our Treasure Hunt devotees wandered about the village looking for clues, in the warm evening sunshine. Richard and Anita Perry had not only planned a dastardly trail around Rous Lench requiring an acute sense of observation, but they had obviously ordered up the ideal weather for such an expedition! 60 people (both local and visiting, young and young at heart) learnt to appreciate the finer details of our village and had some fun along with it, followed by a very sociable and excellent meal of fish and chips, delivered hot and fresh from the Wheelbarrow Castle by Nigel. A fantastic family event! Well done Richard and Anita and many thanks Nigel!

The Hall was all decked out in in red and white and open for business for a wonderful full English breakfast on Saturday 20th April. Unfortunately we were not overwhelmed by the number of people who came along, but there was a steady stream throughout the morning and everyone was full of praises for our resident chef, David Moysey.
