See this 'how to build a bar' video on youtube to see an example of the concept/method for construction of a curved bar front.
For reference only, re: the curve formers and carcass, but recommended viewing to understand the 3D CAD model and drawings:

Since 2005, the hall has undergone a series of major facilities improvements funded via a combination of grants, loans, gifts and event income.  The improvements include:

  • Replacement of all windows with energy-saving double glazing in replenishable hardwood frames

  • Replacement of front door

  • Insulation, felting and re-tiling of the entire roof.

  • Replacement of gutters and down-pipes

  • Doubled Ladies and Gents toilet capacity

  • Provision of disabled toilet facilities

  • Provision of disabled access

  • Redecoration externally and externally

  • Zone heating for the stage meeting/committee room

  • New carpet for stage and social area

  • Refurbished floor of the main hall

  • New tables and chairs

  • Replaced the ageing central heating boiler

  • Opened up the side access to the social area

  • Replaced lighting with energy-efficient lights

  • Built a secure external storage area so that certain bulky and infrequently used items no longer have to be stored in the hall's main spaces

  • Installed a brand new, highly usable kitchen that can more easily be used to prepare full meals at large events

  • Installed a wood-burning stove to help create a warmer and more cosy atmosphere in the bar area

  • Purchased a modern and competent portable PA system for use at hall events

Additionally, we have ambitious plans to further enhance and refurbish the hall, funding for which is raised from hall hire, public events, and government grants*.  This includes:

  • Improved hall access system to make community usage of the hall easier and more straight-forward

  • Hearing loop

  • Refurbishing the bar with additional comfortable seating to better accommodate the popular community pub nights

  • Build a brand new modern bar on the other side of the bar area room so that it is closer to the bar store and washing facilities can be incorporated into it.

  • Further upgrading the hall AV System and stage lighting/equipment to facilitate greater usage for performances and entertainment.

  • New carpeting on the stage and in the bar area

  • Purchase and install an industrial dishwasher in the kitchen to even better facilitate cleanup at large hall meal functions

* In 2019the, the hall was awarded a grant from Wychavon District Council to help fund many of the above-listed works.  The community is hugely grateful for this generous support.
