2 AND 3 AUGUST 2014 EXHIBITION OF WW1 RELATED ITEMS
CHURCH LENCH VILLAGE HALL
On the 2nd and 3rd August 2014 well over 200 personal items were kindly donated by dozens of local residents showing how WW1 affected their families. The ramifications of some of the local stories still resonate today in The Lenches, while all the stories contained poignant reminders about how much the world as we know it today was profoundly influenced by what happened in 1914. The exhibition was attended by around 200 visitors, whose comments were most encouraging to the organisers.
