Halloween Pumpkin Carving Competition and Quiz Night - 31 October Don't miss this great annual Rous Lench Village Hall event which this year will be held on Halloween itself, Friday 31st October! How much scarier could it get? Come and find out! Please bring your pumpkins to the hall between 7 and 7:30pm. Click HERE for some fabulous carving ideas and templates. Prizes will be awarded for largest, scariest, funniest, most creative, and "best by someone 10 years of age or under". Liz Knight will run one of her ever popular quizzes on the evening, so start putting your dream-team of 4 together. If you don't have a team, no worries, just come on the evening and we'll hook you up with a team. Baked potatoes with filling available for brain fodder. Tickets: £5/person "Fashionably Late", by Ginny Davis - 1 November Saturday 1 November, doors open at 7:30pm. The newest and funniest play yet by brilliant playwright, performer and entertainer Ginny Davis. Read HERE what people have been saying about the show. Tickets: £12.50/person including supper, email rouslench@live.co.uk or call Fran on 01386 793651 (Not suitable for under 12s) WW1 Centennial Revue and exhibition at Rous Lench Village Hall - 13, 14 and 15 November Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, 13, 14 and 15 November, doors open at 7:30pm. The Revue is an original GLADS theatrical production featuring songs, sketches, poems and readings relating to 1914. There will also be an exhibition of selected WW1 related items of local interest. Refreshments will be available for purchase at the bar.
