![]() Free to a good home one set of drums as seen in the photo. All working well and with sound reducing 'pads' that can be laid on each drum (seen on drum to right). We think that this is a complete kit with everything that you need, including music sheets. If interested send an email to admin@thelenches.org.uk or phone 871623 The committee at the Lenches Club would like to extend their thanks to Mike Vernalls and his team at Acorn catering equipment for an excellent job done in fitting out the new club kitchen. On time, on budget and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks guys!
Web - acorncateringequipment.co.uk How many jobs do you have in and about your house that you have been putting off for ages? Is there a job in the garden that you just hate to do?
Well, help is at hand! One of our Church Lench residents Richard Shepherd has started a new business aimed at helping the local community get rid of those jobs you just can't or don't want to do. For more details and contact information head on over to our Local Business page ![]() Dear Lenches and Abbots Morton readers, The observant in the community may have noticed that Movember has returned…, and some of it on to the top lip of the Rector. For those more fortunate and not seen or noticed the evidence is attached. I have tried to make the photo as least scary as possible. At the prompting of my son I am “letting” my top lip out for Movember 2013. The organisation supports Men’s Health with a particular focus on Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and Men’s mental health. If you feel able to support this cause then please use the link:http://uk.movember.com/donate/find-results/ (I have tried the link, and it works). In the Search box type Team Thorniley and it will take you through the donation process. Many thanks in anticipation – I would love to get up the UK ranking lists. Blessings to all, Richard For those of you who have been out of the country or in a hermitage for the last month or so you'll be pleased to hear that Marks and Spencers have returned. The new location is opposite Tesco's, who I'm sure will be pleased to welcome M&S shoppers to their larger car park.
The store is a decent size, the staff keen and friendly and the food quality just what you would expect. I anticipate that within 3 months I will be both larger and poorer Great News
The Parish Council has obtained more whips and trees for planting along the boundary of the sports club, as last year. We are planning to plant them this Sunday at about 11am, then repair to the club for a well earned drink. The more that come the merrier we will be (not to mention how quickly the job will get done!). If you are coming please wear wellys and bring a spade or trowel. Thank you in anticipation LSRC Trustees All Lenches members* who renew their Club membership before the end of January 2014 will be entered into a Prize Draw for a chance to win £100. All you have to do is to part with cash or sign a standing order and you'll be automatically entered.
Good luck. *Not open to employees of the Club or committee members. Lenches Dog Walking - Providing Dog Walking and Animal Care in and around The Lenches
I provide dog walking and pet care to Church Lench, Ab Lench, Atch Lench, Sheriffs Lench, Rous Lench, Lenchwick, Harvington, Norton, Salford Priors, Bishampton, Throckmorton and Hill Furz (Evesham, Worcestershire) More details on business page We're looking for a team of around 8 people we can call upon to man the Club's BBQ at our events. We hold roughly 5 BBQ events; 3 regular ones (bonfire night, May fun run and August beer festival) and one or two others throughout the year. Volunteers wouldn't be required to man every single one but a minimum of 3-4 people will be needed per event.
The Club will also be arranging for food hygiene certification for each crew member, and some sort of reward/incentive scheme is currently under discussion by the committee. If you're interested in giving something back to the community and helping us out, please get in touch and leave a message for Mike on 01386 870 221. Thank you The Club |
