Be Aware - Blue Volvo Estate and White Ford Transit

Read Now

Yesterday afternoon a local resident was returning to her house in Sheriffs Lench. She was followed by a Blue Volvo Estate Registration something like VE032NR. The Blue Volvo Estate followed her all the way down the farm track to the barns in Sheriffs Lench and when she had got out of her car in the the man in the Volvo asked if she had a Sat Nav or a Smart phone and then asked if one of the neighbour’s cars was for sale. Suspicious!

She immediately called the Police who visited her soon after. She was told that the owners of the Blue Volvo Estate are to be regarded with due suspicion (edited from the original).

If residents see this car in any suspicious circumstances could they report it to the police immediately. If it is just seen on the road it may help if you make a note of the time.

Update:

We have more suspicious vehicles in Sheriffs Lench today.
A white Ford Transit with 2 men and the first four reg digits: VG60 was asking various residents about people’s car they wanted to buy.

The Police are aware and would ask residents to immediately report anything suspicious to them on 999.

Gordon Giltrap, the world-famous and extremely accomplished guitarist is playing at Rous Lench village hall on Sat 14th March. This will be the only gig that Gordon is playing in Worcestershire on his current tour. Some of his other gigs have already sold out and demand for tickets will be very high.
