Despite the recent soggy weather, this year's Pig Roast passed without a drop of rain (almost!!) to spoil the fun! More people than ever joined us on the Green and by the end of the evening the pork rolls, the bar and the cake stall had all sold out. It was a great family event, one of very few that has not had to be cancelled this year, with prizes to be won on the raffle and tombola, plus the book stall, guess the weight of the cake competition and face painting to keep everyone entertained. Not to mention, of course, the great music and singing of Acoustics 22 and dancing the night away to Booty! Thanks and well done to everyone who contributed to a wonderful evening, the proceeds of which will, as usual, be equally divided between the Church and the Village Hall.
