FRAME - Constitution
FRAME (Festival of Rural Arts Music and Entertainment)
The FRAME group is a not for profit group with the following objects
1. To bring to the local area Arts, Music and other forms of entertainment, in the form of an Annual Event, and periodic ad hoc events for the enjoyment and education of the Community at large.
2. To provide a showcase for talent and an opportunity for the development of talent through the provision of a platform for public performance or display
3. To foster links between local groups and schools with similar interests
The Steering Committee of FRAME consists of a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and two other members. One of the Steering Committee will be a member of GLADS (Greater Lenches Amateur Dramatic Society) a daughter organisation
The Steering Committee of FRAME will be drawn from those in the Community who have expressed a commitment to participate in the organisation and operation of the objects. Any subsequent changes in the Steering Committee will be confirmed by election or Resolution at an Annual General Meeting to be held in June. 21 Days notice of the date of the AGM will be given. Annual Accounts will be submitted to the AGM.
The Steering Committee will meet as and when necessary but at least four times a year. Minutes will be taken.
All members of the Community will be eligible to vote at the AGM.
The Steering Committee has a Bank account for FRAME and uses the proceeds of any fundraising or other income purely for the pursuit of the objects of FRAME and GLADS. FRAME and GLADS reserves will be identified separately and may be interchanged provided the agreement of both groups is reached. The Steering Committee is authorised to seek loans, grants and donation in furtherance of the objects of FRAME.
Should FRAME ever become defunct the assets of FRAME shall be transferred to a group with similar objectives
